About the Role
Hello! Adonis is a rapidly growing NYC-based platform that connects clients to personal trainers. We’re looking for a talented social star that can pull together and post unified deliverables across all platforms - notably Instagram and Tiktok. We have tons of raw footage to review and pull from, plus ongoing events with opportunities to execute on new ideas and concepts. Responsibilities include:
-Concept ideation
-Executing the concept (on site at events or with existing footage)
-Editing and creating the assets
-Posting across our platforms
One example: we’d like to start posting testimonials from our trainers in a gym setting to our Adonis channels. I imagine it will be called Between Two Sets, and we’d have a short conversation about their business and their Adonis experience between a trainer’s working sets. Our ideal hire would script out some questions for the video, come along to film it, cut it together, and then post it after it was approved.
Scope & Budget
We’re looking to increase our content frequency from a few times a week to daily - and we have over one hundred videos on Instagram that we’d like to cross post to TikTok at some point. They’re already created, we just need somebody with the bandwidth to map it out and keep the engine running. Ideally we’d eventually hand the keys over for you to drive social full-time down the road. Please include previous job experience plus examples of content you’ve created when applying. It would also be helpful to know your familiarity with fitness and anything else we should know.
As a start up, our budget is lean but we're expecting to raise money in 2025 and would love to have this person along for the ride. Right now, we're able to pay $2k/mo for this role in return for the scope above. While exact video count doesn’t matter, it should cover 10-15 new videos posted to our channels every month on top of the other paid media we generate at events. Consider the first month a (paid) trial with formal feedback at the end so we can stay on the same page moving forward.
